ABOUT THIS EVENT
This robust certification workshop will provide in-depth training and best practices in organizational abuse prevention. Step up to be the leader in your school community and create a culture of safety.
Because you care about the safety of those under your watch and are passionate about abuse prevention, you can earn a valuable credential to carry throughout your career that showcases your commitment to protecting youth and vulnerable adults.
This workshop is a highly interactive experience, packed full of engaging activities, group discussions, and actual field work. Facilitators from Praesidium will train attendees in best practices in organizational abuse prevention that include specific steps to prevent incidents of abuse by employees, volunteers, or program participants. You will also learn how to respond effectively if an allegation or incident occurs, how to ensure that your organization stays current and consistent in the implementation of abuse prevention best practices, and become the go-to resource within your organization.
Your expertise as a Certified Praesidium Guardian™ demonstrates to your community how seriously your organization takes the care of their loved ones, and it demonstrates to insurance carriers that you have in place the highest standards in abuse prevention.

This workshop requires a minimum of 10 participants. If this threshold is not met and MISBO needs to cancel this event, the following refund policy will apply:
- If cancellation of this event occurs at any time, attendee will receive a 100% refund of all fees paid.
- No refunds shall be made for travel expenses related to the conference. Attendees who purchase non-refundable airlines tickets do so at their own risk.
